Warm up your food in a regular oven or over an outdoor kitchen (remember that the lunch box gets really hot so you don't burn yourself!). Because it is made of stainless steel, it is completely free of phthalates, BPA and other endocrine disruptors. Since it has no plastic parts, it is not 100% leak proof so the best thing is not to have too running food in it.
