Real field meal

Drytech founder and family man Rolf Hansen was as in love with Mrs. Lill as he was with her cooking. With access to nutritious Northern Norwegian ingredients, Lill cooked the most delicious stews. One early morning, in the lovely aroma from the kitchen, Rolf got the idea that would later spread around the world. Rolf would preserve Lill's dishes to be able to take the food with him on a hike over the mountains.

Drytech Real field Turmat was founded in 1989

As a food-loving mountain hiker, Rolf faced a challenge. At the time, there was no technology available that would properly reproduce the flavors he experienced in his beloved Lill's stews. However, the idea of Lill's pots on a turn was too good not to pass up.

In 1989, the idea became a reality when Rolf moved into the garage with the pots and stayed there until he developed a new method for freeze drying. Thus, Drytech was born and with Drytech Real Turmat's products, which set a golden edge on so many mountain hikes until today and hopefully for many years to come. After Drytech Real Turmat, the idea of Real Field Meal was born. The same good quality, the same good flavors but more content for the really demanding days.

How to Cook a Real Field Meal?

Easy. Tear off the top and fill with hot water. Stir and let stand 10-15 minutes. When the Field Meal is ready to be eaten, tear off another piece so the bag forms a bowl, then just dig into a portion of deliciously warming meal.
