Aquamira technologies  inc is a company based in Cache  Meadows,Utah - USAspecializing in water purification products intended for both private and military applications. The company has been privately owned since its inception in 2005 and has about 30 employees. In 2019, the company acquired  Geigerrig, which specializes in pressurized fluid systems and associated backpacks.

What does Aquamira?

Aquamira manufactures water purification products with the goal that everyone will have easy access to clean drinking water, which has inspired the research team to develop innovative and today leading products for water purification, regardless of the environment and source from which the water comes. Aquamira  purifies water through two main techniques, water filters that mechanically filter out harmful organisms and chemically where harmful organisms are simply killed. Aquamira's  products are built with the intention of being practical, hand-operated and portable and are therefore ideal for both outdoor adventures and crisis preparedness

one of Aquamira's  more popular products entered the market in 1999 and has since been a popular way to purify water among adventurers and survival experts worldwide using  chlorine  dioxide. The concept is very simple. just fill a bottle with water, apply a couple of drops per liter of water and wait about 30 minutes after which the water is safe to drink.
