As a youngster, Mark Cobham often went on adventures, hiking trails few had done before. Far away from civilization, Mark himself experienced the need for first aid after an accident and then realized the need for a first aid kit that you can easily take with you. In 1989, the first kits landed on the market after intensive collaboration with leading emergency care personnel.

Today, Lifesystems is a 50 person strong team of developers and travel experts supplying expeditions and retailers in more than 40 countries worldwide. Today's kits are designed for big and small adventures through the latest technology and materials.
