The tarp has a large surface and protects from rain as well as from wind. The inner part has a heat reflective surface which makes the tarp extra well adapted for cooler conditions. The outer side has a deep green color that blends well into the surroundings. The tarp consists of 210T Polyester that has high UV resistance. The tarp forms a closed environment, like a tent around the whole hammock which is a clear advantage in stronger wind and cooler weather. The tarp can also be set up as a tent against the ground, then without the bottom but provides a spacious option if desired. The tarp has 10 attachment points, of which 6 consists of a combination of powerful nylon straps well fortified in the tarp and metal rings for several fastening options.
