The core consists of a wave-shaped foam construction with horizontal channels. This design reduces both weight and packing volume while maintaining a smooth and stable sleeping surface - without the instability that often occurs in pure air mattresses.
The soft brushed polyester ("peachskin") top surface provides a quiet and comfortable feel against the body, further improving sleep quality. At the same time, the robust construction ensures that the pad remains stable on the tent floor.
The double Flat High-Flow (FHF) valve makes inflation and deflation very fast, despite the large volume. The pad fills automatically when the valve is opened and is easily adjusted to the desired firmness.
With a very high R-value (up to about 10.5 according to the manufacturer), the Dreamcatcher 12 cm XL offers exceptional insulation, making it useful even in cold conditions and significantly extending the camping season.
