-Select two trees of suitable size, with the right distance to each other (about 3.5 m), verify that the trees are healthy and not rotten, and that the tree trunk is not too weak. Put the strap around the trunk of one tree. -Thread the end with the rope and the two metal knobs through the end with a large loop, check that the strap is at the appropriate height and tighten at the trunk. -Attach a carabiner hook or aluminium stick (e.g. on a Sub 6 or JungleNest hammock) to the loop of the rope located at the end of the strap. - Do the same on tree number two. -To adjust the length of the straps, hold on to one piece of rope and grab one end, you can adjust the length of the strap in millimetres. If you make a mistake, nothing happens, then try changing the rope to pull. -Tighten the strap by pulling the rope with the metal knob and holding with the other hand on the strap. The hammock can be adjusted in different ways, if you just want to hang on to it during the daytime in a more seated position, it can hang a little "slacker". When it's time to go to bed, it can be nice to tighten it a little harder so you lie more "straight" with your back. Don't tighten up the hammock too tightly, it usually doesn't get good in the end.
