Helinox Sunset Chair (re)
is a further development of one of their most popular models - but with a clear focus on comfort, ergonomics and stability. The high back provides support all the way up to the neck and head, making the chair useful for longer sittings - not just short breaks. At the same time, the longer legs provide a higher sitting height (about 35-47 cm depending on measurement), making it significantly easier to sit and stand up compared to lower models.
More about the Helinox Sunset Chair (re)
The big upgrade in the (re)version is the Helinox (re)Tension Design - an extra tension line that distributes weight more evenly across the frame. The result is less 'sag', better stability and a more armchair-like seating feel.
The seat is also wider and more flexible than previous generations, further enhancing comfort - especially for taller users or when sitting for long periods by the campfire. The frame is built from DAC aluminum (partially recycled), which provides high strength without adding weight. Despite being one of the most comfortable models in the range, it's still portable and packs down into a compact bag.
Positioning in the range:
- Heavier than Chair One / Zero → but clearly more comfort
- More comfortable than Highback (re) → more "armchair" than chair
- Close to Savanna Chair → but more portable
This is the chair for those who:
sit for a long time in camp
prioritize comfort over weight
want "home feeling" even outside
