The main technical strength lies in the Helinox lever-lock system, which stretches the fabric tightly over the frame. It eliminates sagging and provides a firm, even sleeping surface - more like a real bed than a classic cot.

The frame is made of DAC aluminum and reinforced with extra supports (including an extra crossbeam), making the structure stable even under high loads. The maximum capacity is around 145 kg, while keeping the weight around 2.8-3.0 kg - which is very low in this size class. The sleeping surface in durable, bluesign®-certified ripstop polyester provides a good balance between comfort and durability. It's taut enough for support, but flexible enough to work even for side sleepers.
Like other Helinox cots, it's modular: with separate leg extensions, you can raise the bed up to about 43 cm - making it more like a classic camp bed and easier to get in and out of. Despite its size, it packs down to a relatively compact format and is assembled via shock-corded tubes - quickly and without tools.
